I'm back home. I've actually been back home for about a day but I didn't feel like updating. Blisters and shit healing nicely btw, but I don't know why they wouldn't. -shrug-

Okay, so, we went to the Shedd Aquarium on like the second day. I was kind of psyched to see some deep sea animals, like Angler Fish and stuff. But I guess since they're hard to find, aquariums wouldn't have them. I wanted to take a picture of the octopus that they had there, but he/she was chilling behind a rock so I let them be.

Spider crabs are fuckin' ugly. I would be tempted to say that they're so ugly that they're cute, but they're not. Seriously.

We went to this cool little oriental shop on, I wanna say Michigan Avenue. North maybe? I'm probably wrong. The shop owner didn't like my brother very much XD.

Speaking of my brother, when he was taking a picture of this awesome view near the aquarium, a sparrow pecked him on the head twice. He was wearing a hat so he didn't get hurt. And we saw another guy almost get pecked. We figured out that there was a tree under that spot and the bird was more than likely protecting the eggs in the nest it built.

The planetarium that we went to was okay. After a while it got kind of boring. And the only thing interesting in the field museum were the jewels and minerals and the Egypt exhibit. But they only showed sarcophagi whenever they were talking about mummies. Not the mummies themselves. Also, at one of the pictures when they were talking about ancient Egyptian culture, this one little kid was laughing because they showed the penis on the picture. Now given it wasn't really detailed, you could easily tell what it was. XD.

I also got an hourglass in one of the souvenir stores. It was filled with black sand and only cost five dollars! Yeah, I like collecting hourglasses. But so far, I only have two. -shrug-

Also, whenever we were walking to the Wallgreens on our last day, they had something going on in Millennium Park and there were some people near the park protesting against Scientology. One of them was wearing a banana suit~ I got his picture!

All in all, it was a good trip. I like how Chicago was much less humid than it is here. Seriously, when you live on coastal state, 86 degrees feels like 96 because of the humidity.

I really overslept today. Like, until 1. My mom was constantly calling and freaking out. I feel bad for making her worry but hopefully, I'll got to bed at a decent time tonight. Also, there was no phone in the basement so there was no way I would have been able to hear her.

As for the deviantART virus, just don't add dragon_heart620 to your buddy list and you'll be just fine!
